On September 6-7, 2013 the Toronto Foundation supporters and volunteers will gather for two days in Zlin, Czech Republic to assist in the pre-construction labor for the Center for Parents with Children Suffering from Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This center will serve as a place where the parents of children with Autism can go for support and educational resources. The center will also be a place for the complex care of individuals suffering from Autism ranging from pre-school age to adulthood. More information can be found at http://www.zasklem.com (website only in Czech). The Toronto Foundation’s partners in this year’s annual service project will be church members from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, along with members of the citizen’s organization ZASKLEM, which
focuses on helping those suffering from ASD and their families. Come join us for the 2013 In-Country Service Project this September!
